From next week, Israel will begin to export its citizens from Ukraine

From next week, Israel will begin to take out its citizens from Ukraine, according to the newspaper Haaretz.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry has declared a state of emergency over the threat of Russian troops invading Ukraine after receiving information from US officials that Russia could attack Ukraine as early as Tuesday.

The Israeli authorities intend to complete the evacuation of citizens before the situation escalates further.

According to the Foreign Ministry, there are currently 15,000 Israeli citizens in Ukraine. Thousands of them have already filled out applications for evacuation from the country. It should be noted that recently the number of commercial flights from Ukraine has been declining.

The Israeli Foreign Minister announced the decision to evacuate diplomats and their families from Ukraine on Friday, and also called on other citizens to reconsider their stay in the country. Yesterday, February 13, a new decision was adopted, which provides for the immediate evacuation of all residents of Israel.
