“European Union integration remains our primary foreign policy priority, and Hungary’s role in this process is invaluable,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the joint briefing with Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
 
According to the PM, he is grateful to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for visiting Georgia.
 
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for visiting Georgia. His presence here with a distinguished delegation, along with our overall bilateral cooperation, is of paramount importance to us. This collaboration, partnership, and friendship are rooted in the traditional amicable relations between our peoples, and we place exceptional value on further developing and deepening these ties. It is particularly significant that the Prime Minister’s visit coincides with Hungary’s presidency of the Council of the European Union.
 
European Union integration remains our primary foreign policy priority, and Hungary’s role in this process is invaluable. Throughout this journey, Hungary has been an ardent supporter of Georgia’s European aspirations and played a crucial role in Georgia’s achievement of EU candidate status. For this, I would like to express my deepest personal gratitude to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and our Hungarian friends in government. We are confident in Hungary’s continued support moving forward, and I want to reiterate my appreciation to our Hungarian friends, and personally to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, for their steadfast backing,” he said.
