Negotiations between the European Union and Armenia on facilitating the issuance of visas for citizens of Armenia do not adversely affect the operation of the visa-free regime between Armenia and Russia. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

 

“From our side, we do not see any negative moment or impact of such negotiations on the activities of the visa-free regime between Russia and Armenia,” said Maria Zakharova.

 

At the same time, she emphasized. “Brussels will get levers of pressure on Yerevan’s policy after the start of negotiations with the EU on visa-free regime.”
