Azerbaijan is taking the necessary steps to align its army with the Turkish model, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov announced during an event organized in Baku on the occasion of the Turkish National Day.

 

He noted that the joint activities of Azerbaijan and Turkey serve to protect peace and stability in the region. Hasanov emphasized that during the 44-day war, Azerbaijan fully felt the support of fraternal Turkey.
