Azerbaijan responded to the EU decision on military assistance to Armenia. Press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hajizadeh, answering the question about military aid to Armenia within the framework of the European Peace Facility, said.

 

“The decision of the EU to arm Armenia with multifunctional armored vehicles ‘Bastion’ and self-propelled artillery systems ‘Cesar’ and to send military aid to Armenia after the steps of France is extremely wrong and dangerous and serves to aggravate the tension in relations with Armenia. Such steps by the European Union are clearly one-sided and biased in nature, and are a manifestation of the policy of creating “divisive lines” in the region.
