France expresses its indignation at the July 14 and 15 attacks by Israel on the school of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East and Al-Maghazi camp, where displaced persons have taken refuge, the statement of the French Foreign Ministry reads.

 

“The strikes in recent days, which have killed nearly 100 people, deepen the catastrophic loss of life among the Palestinian civilian population of Gaza.

 

France recalls the imperative to respect international humanitarian law, which is an obligation for Israel. “Faced with a humanitarian emergency in the Gaza Strip, France reiterates its call for an immediate ceasefire and the immediate release of all hostages,” the French Foreign Ministry said.
