Newly appointed US ambassador in Baku met with Bayramov
Newly appointed US ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mark Libby, handed over a copy of his credentials to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
The agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, the current situation in the region, as well as the prospects of the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed at the meeting.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the development of bilateral relations “within the framework of mutual interests” was emphasized.
Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan is interested in establishing peace and stability in the region.
