Italy allocates 4 million euros to ICRC for urgent interventions in favor of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh


“Deputy Minister Cirielli has allocated 4 million euros of funds (MAECI – Development Cooperation) in favor of the Red Cross for urgent interventions in favor of the populations of Nagorno-Karabakh” Italy’s Foraign Minstry said in a statement. 
 
“To address the rapid increase in humanitarian needs in Nagorno-Karabakh and to support the tens of thousands of people who have abandoned their homes to reach Armenia, to complement the activation of the Civil Protection, in coordination and in agreement with the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Antonio Tajani, the Deputy Minister the Hon. Edmondo Cirielli has arranged a contribution of 4 million euros in favor of the Red Cross for urgent interventions in favor of the populations most affected by the crisis”, said the Ministry.
