Clarification of the Franco-German ‘Arte’ TV company in connection with report that raised dissatisfaction
The reportage called ‘Azerbaijan: Time to return to Karabakh’ aired on March 9 by French-German ‘Arte’ TV Company, has raised dissatisfaction in the French domain of social networks, both among French-Armenian and French users.
Along with the letters of protest addressed to the management of the TV channel, Armenian organizations, French-Armenian and French figures expressed their displeasure in connection with the report in publications made on social networks, mentioning the official user account of ‘Arte’ TV channel.
In response to many letters expressing dissatisfaction, the ‘Arte’ TV company had to come up with a clarification regarding the report, specifically noting that the ‘Arte Reportage’ TV company has prepared and broadcast several reports on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with testimonies from the Armenian side.
The TV company also assured that it never aimed to endorse the official discourse of this or that country with its reports.
