Coronavirus in Georgia: statistics February 16

In Georgia, 15,315 new cases of coronavirus were detected per day. Thus, the total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 1,496,156.
The distribution of new cases of Covid-19 by regions of Georgia is as follows:
- Tbilisi – 7,055;
- Imereti – 2,233;
- Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 1,131;
- Kakheti – 1,118;
- Adjara – 960;
- Kvemo Kartli – 907;
- Shida Kartli – 834;
- Guria – 470;
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 286;
- Samtskhe-Javakheti – 235;
- Racha-Lechkhumi – Kvemo Svaneti – 86.
Over the past 24 hours, 10,894 patients have recovered from coronavirus. In total, 1,300,062 people have already been ill with Covid-19 in Georgia. Another 55 people have died from complications caused by the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Currently, a total of 16,650 deaths from Covid-19 have been recorded.
Active cases to date are 180,385 (+4,366). 1,309 patients are in serious condition, 293 people are connected to the ventilator.
