Residents of a village in Samegrelo burned a banner of a pro-Kremlin organization

Residents of the village of Darcheli in the Zugdidi municipality removed a banner from the office of the pro-Kremlin Conservative Movement party and burned it. Maya Kalandia, a member of the Zugdidi city council from the United National Movement, shared a video of this on Facebook.
The activists stressed that the organization, known for its ultra-right, anti-Western and pro-Kremlin statements, would not be allowed into the village.
In Zugdidi itself, the office of the “Conservative Movement” operates. On March 17, the townspeople painted its facade in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
The openly pro-Kremlin Conservative Movement party was registered on December 7, 2021. Its chairman is Zurab Makharadze, one of the hosts of the pro-Kremlin media platform Alt-Info, and its general secretary is another Alt-Info host Georgy Kardava.
In recent months, the ultra-right organization, registered as a political force, has opened offices throughout Georgia, which is actively protested by the population.
