Rosatom could have extended the operation of Armenia’s nuclear power plant until 2036, Overchuk
Rosatom could have extended the operation of Armenia’s nuclear power plant until 2036, but Yerevan is choosing a “European direction,” giving preference to European contractors, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said in an interview with TASS.
According to him, the condition for extending the plant’s operation until 2036 was to ensure that at least 70% of the contractual work would be carried out by the state corporation.
