Every combat success boosts Ukraine’s defense and negotiating position, Zelenskiy says
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Ukraine’s ability to negotiate is based on soldiers’ ongoing combat missions and daily successes, which prove the country can defend itself.
He also said he held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, where they discussed important issues related to strengthening air defense and distributing personnel between combat brigades. The President announced this during an evening address.
They also discussed the importance of short- and medium-range air defense for the front, and for protecting energy facilities.
The President noted that Ukrainians cannot depend on supplies from abroad – that is why creating their own air defense is a guarantee of the state’s security. All production tasks must be completed on time – with personal responsibility at each level.
Separately, Zelenskyy focused on the problem of fair distribution of personnel between brigades, which the military has repeatedly spoken about during his trips to the front.
