Trump says lower energy prices would prompt Putin to ‘stop killing people’
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said lower energy prices would prompt Russian President Vladimir to “stop killing people” in Ukraine.
“If energy goes down enough, Putin is going to stop killing people,” Trump said in an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
“If you get energy down, another USD10 a barrel, he’s going to have no choice because his economy stinks,” Trump said.
