Bayramov presented situation in South Caucasus to ambassadors of European Union countries


Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with ambassadors of European Union countries. He presented the situation in the South Caucasus after the Azerbaijani military aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh.
 
Bayramov claimed that the goal of Azerbaijan’s actions is stability in the region and that Baku is ready to guarantee the rights of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh.
 
The perspective of the peace process between Baku and Yerevan was also touched upon. “The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that a historic opportunity has been created to achieve peace in the region,” the ministry’s statement reads.
