CSTO mission in Armenia tries to be as objective as possible: Sidorov

The CSTO mission in Armenia is trying to be as objective as possible, it is too early to talk about the conclusions, stated head of the mission, colonel-general Anatoly Sidorov.

“Developments on the borders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, have created an unpleasant situation for CSTO. However, the organization does not “draw the sword from the sheath” yet, but gives priority to resolving the tension through political and diplomatic means. I think the works in this direction have great prospects,” he emphasized.

According to Sidorov, CSTO delegation visited Armenian territories where clashes took place, settlements, positions targeted by the Azerbaijani side. He informed that the collected facts will be included in the final report.
