US State Department urges American citizens to leave Belarus immediately
The US State Department urges American citizens not to travel to Belarus, and citizens staying in the country to immediately leave its territory.
According to the agency, due to Russian military activity along the Ukrainian border, the situation in the region is unstable and unpredictable.
Late last week, the State Department urged Americans to immediately leave Ukraine because of the growing threat of military action from Russia. On February 14, it became known that the US embassy was moving from Kiev to Lvov.
